I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and NASM Certified Nutrition Coach dedicated to helping my clients realize their diet and fitness goals by starting at the source. Our mind. I believe that the secret to creating lasting change lies in our ability to recognize and take control of our negative and often self defeating thoughts and behaviors. My experience as a therapist and serial dieter has taught me that the continuous cycle of inaccurate thoughts and maladaptive behaviors, and not personal failure, is what ultimately causes us to fall short of our desired outcomes. I practice what I preach, and through embarking on my own mental and physical fitness journey I’ve found that sometimes a simple shift in perspective is all we need to get started on BIG changes.
